Day 2. So here I am in Germany. The sun shines, the temperature is balmy, and as soon as I saw Christine (Chrissy) at the airport I knew all was well with the world. We spent the day running errands, which included buying a cell phone for me (country code 49, followed by 1734-7800-76) and having lunch with Chrissy's parents, Toni and Elizabeth, in a very nice little restaurant in a quaint little town at the foot of the Taunus Mountains.
The afternoon was spent packing, because tomorrow, February 13, we ta
ke off for India. It will be another long flight, starting at 3:30 pm, landing in Dubai at midnight, resuming flight at 4:00 am, and finally landing in New Delhi at about 9:30 am.
